Abstract :
A planar coupled tapered slot-line antenna with sum/difference beams is developed based on fast MoM procedures and optimisation using specific genetic algorithm operators. The aim of the optimisation procedure is to realise a balanced combination of the gain of the sum-beam and the slope of the difference-beam. A test sample provides the desired performances
