Abstract :
A decision feedback differential detection (DFDD) scheme for differentially encoded 16-APSK signals is modified using knowledge of the signal power. Using such information can improve the error performance. It is shown that this DFDD scheme is almost identical to a previously proposed DFDD scheme in terms of the error performance
