Abstract :
A simple treatment is provided of the analysis of an adaptive delta modulation system for evaluating the performance of the system in terms of complexity, signalto- noise ratio and dynamic range. The analysis assumes a simple adaptation algorithm and a normal density function input signal with flat spectrum. A brief description of the implementation of the system is given and finally the experimental results are compared with the theoretical results.
