Abstract :
A new method to design a band-stop filter is presented. The impedances of coplanar-waveguide (CPW) structures are used to design the filter, and the conformal transformation is utilised to calculate the capacitance of structures in the coplanar-waveguide. The design and experimental characterisation of the ultra-wideband of a fully differential filter is also presented. The performance of the filter shows 10 GHz bandwidth from 14 to 24 GHz. Experimental results show acceptable agreement between the measured result and the simulation result.
