Abstract
Copyedit-style grading is described and contrasted to the less thorough end-comment-only grading often provided in writing courses. A student perspective is provided, using examples from courses using both styles of grading to illustrate the purpose of copyedit grading, which is to help the student learn to write clearly and concisely
