Abstract :
The demagnetizing field inside a ringcore sensor has been solved numerically and the performance of a ringcore magnetometer has been analyzed under triangular-current excitations. The gated signals appear at the knees of the magnetization curves where maximum nonlinearity occurs. The gated signals show constant amplitude whose width decreases linearly with the applied DC signal
