Abstract :
A high-performance torque controller is proposed for three-phase brushless DC motor drives. The strategy is based on variable-structure control and a new synchronous reference frame is utilized. Advantages over conventional strategies include improved dynamic performance, reduced acoustic noise, improved drive efficiency and enhanced inverter utilization
