Abstract :
FeSi and other Fe alloys were deposited on ZnO and other underlayers and shown to exhibit preferred orientation of the crystallographic axis. By adjusting compositions, FeSi films with low magnetostrictions were obtained. Measurements indicated that H c is lower for these compositions. Double-layer films showed low Hc and high thermal stability as well
