Abstract :
Expressions are presented for the calculation of the magnetic field components due to toroidal current-carrying conductors of rectangular cross section, with angular length equal to 2π radians and constant current density. The expressions contain complete elliptic integrals of orders I and II. The elliptic integral of order III is avoided, allowing numerical integration to be carried out more easily than in past treatments of the problem
