Abstract :
The paper presents a coupled electromagnetic - thermal model for arc discharge in a plasma medium. The model is implemented in the Transmission Line Modelling (TLM) method and tested on a simple one-dimensional (1D) case with a plasma layer sandwiched between dielectric layers.
