Abstract :
Unconditionally stable, complex envelope, four-stage alternating-direction-implicit, finite-difference time-domain (CE-4S-ADI-FDTD) algorithm is presented for modeling band-limited electromagnetic applications. The algorithm is based on the exponential splitting operator procedure. It has been observed that the proposed algorithm outperforms both the conventional 4S-ADI-FDTD and the CE-ADI-FDTD formulations.
