  • Abstract
The paper mentions that Israel is a prime tourist destination, owing primarily to its incredibly rich historical and archaeological resources, especially those relating to biblical times, which have great resonance with millions around the world. Its beautiful Mediterranean and Gulf of Eilat beaches, desert, and mountain vistas and moderate climate do not hurt either. Because Israel is a small nation, it is easy to traverse its entire area, even during a short vacation; although likewise, you could spend weeks at one spot soaking in the history. In the past four decades or so, Israel has also become a center for high-tech research and development. This trend is the result of many historical factors, but it certainly allows the computer professionals to combine business and pleasure on their trips.
