Abstract
This work examines a deterministic approach to quantization in A/D conversion processes and provides mathematical relationships able to define spectrum characterization and the behavior of the quantization error power for any specific input signal. The results are applied to sinusoidal and triangular waveforms. A first comparison with the statistical theory is presented
