Abstract :
Galvanic steel wire manufacturers have to fulfil several international regulations regarding the zinc mass by the surface unit. This paper presents a new sensor to measure this parameter online. Details about the different parts of the system (sensor, circuitry, adjustment, signal processing) are explained. Also, experimental results in a real manufacturing line are presented
