  • Abstract
    A brief biography of Daniel W. Repperger, Jr. is given highlighting his professional achievements. He significantly advanced the state of the art in the analysis and modeling of human performance in complex flight motion environments, and he led the development of active control stick technology that employs force feedback to mitigate biodynamic forces, G-effects, spasticity, and tremor. Dan applied his considerable expertise to the control of teleoperated systems, pneumatic muscle technology, and strengthenhancing exoskeletons. Throughout his career he extended key theoretical concepts.
