  • Abstract
    This is the second article in a series of four that introduce the outline of the Kii Channel high-voltage dc (HVDC) link, constructed jointly by the Kansai Electric Power Co., Inc., Shikoku Electric Power Co., Inc., and Electric Power Development Co., Ltd. In this article, the thyristor valves and gas-insulated switchgears (GIS) used in the Kii Channel link are described.
