Abstract :
The horn synthesis problem is formulated in terms of a fourth degree polynomial. Explicit analytical formulas are subsequently derived for the accurate design of standard gain pyramidal horn antennas. These formulas do not need the application of iterative techniques, unlike existing methods, are simpler to use, and are not restricted to high-gain horn design
