Abstract :
A synthesis procedure for arbitrary symmetrical four-port networks is presented. It is based on the use of four frequency-invariant 180 degrees hybrids. An experimental realization which uses four flatpack 180 degrees hybrids is described. Some 3-dB lumped element 90 degrees hybrids are synthesized.<>
