Abstract
Performances of subcarrier multiplexing (SCM) systems using Mach-Zehnder optical modulators for signal down conversion are studied in this paper. A photonic-image-rejection mixer is proposed to solve the image-frequency problem. The performance of the image-rejection mixer using nonideal system components is evaluated
