Abstract :
Microscope photos of the microdischarges in dielectric barrier discharge microplasma were taken for the discharge gaps ranging from 30 to 100 μm. The microdischarge formation phenomena in all the stages were observed for microplasma generated in N2/Ar mixture by a pulse power supply. A diffused glowlike microplasma was observed with the increase in Ar concentration in N2/Ar mixture.
