Abstract :
The paper presents a realistic model for the reversible part of magnetization in a scalar Preisach-type model. A set of first-order reversal curves is used to evaluate the model´s parameters. It is easily observed that the reversible part induces a typical asymmetry in the FORC diagram for many magnetic systems which is not easy to include in a Preisach-type model. This typical feature is reproduced in the presented technique. This allows an accurate separation of the reversible and irreversible processes in a real magnetic system. The implementation is presented and the results are discussed.
