Abstract :
A current simulation method is presented for calculating the three-dimensional magnetic field of a superconducting AC generator. The method represents the influence of the boundaries by a large number of current loops appropriately positioned at a distance behind the boundary surface so that the boundary conditions on the actual surface of the boundaries are satisfied. The calculated results obtained for the model of the superconducting AC generator are close to the measured values
