Abstract :
A 1.48 μm unstable cavity laser is coupled into a singlemode fibre using three microlenses. Up to 370 mW of CW fibre-coupled power is obtained at an injected current of 3.7 A, with a chip-to-fibre coupling efficiency of 58%. This is the highest reported power coupled in a singlemode fibre from a single semiconductor laser at this wavelength
