Abstract :
An easy and simple method for the development of graphic programs and for documentation and display of results of power system calculations and planning is described. The resulting programs use commercially available firmware, which enables even an unskilled programmer to write powerful graphic output routines. The method is applied to a variety of planning software, such as load flow, short circuit, and permissible loading calculations. The program can run on any mainframe or personal computer (286 and higher) and needs only the appropriate firmware and suitable graphic output facilities (graphic printer or plotter, and a graphic screen).<>
