Abstract :
Methods for measuring the critical properties such as critical temperature and critical current were investigated and studied by round robin tests. The investigation was carried out in five steps: (1) decision on the specifications of common samples and measuring methods; (2) preparation and characterization of common samples; (3) distribution of samples to ten member research organizations; (4) experimental measurement at the respective research organizations; and (5) analysis of measurement results. The measurement of critical temperature and critical current were made mainly by the four-probe methods and partially by the magnetization method. The results were found to disperse, depending on the measurement methods and definitions of T c and Ic
