Abstract :
JPEG and JPEG2000 are the prominent codec used for getting high quality output image after processing (Compression and Decompression). In this paper, JPEG and JPEG2000 both been briefly explained and have been implemented using matlab7 and compared on the base of few parameters like PSNR (Peak Signal To Noise Ratio), MSE (Mean Square Error), MSSIM (Mean Structure Similarities).
