  • Abstract
We proposed a Ni/Ag/Ni multilayer thin-film internal antenna for wireless mobile applications using DC sputtering method. The proposed Ni/Ag/Ni multilayer thin-film radiator´s overall size is 43.0 times 24.0 times 0.0015 (growth thickness: 1.5 mum) mm3 without feeding mechanism as well as the proposed Ni/Ag/Ni multilayer thin-film antenna results show good performance at GSM quad-band and WCDMA dual-band in passive and active aspects using the Agilent E5071B Network Analyzer and CTIA chamber. The experimental results of the Ni/Ag/Ni multilayer thin film structure are very promising for GSM and WCDM multiband mobile antenna applications and further higher frequency operation of the wireless technology.
