Evaluation of Gram matrix diagonal elements using inners technique

A new method for evaluation of the Gram matrix from the coefficients of the system transfer function is proposed. The method is based on computing the diagonal elements of the Gram matrix by using the inners technique. The off-diagonal elements are obtained easily from the system time moments. The method provides an attractive alternative to the existing techniques and is illustrated by a numerical example.
