Abstract
Parameter quantisation in digital filters causes deviation in the characteristics because poles and zeros move away from their desired locations. The usual sensitivity measures involve cross terms of zeros and poles and are hard to express as the effect of individual poles or zeros. The authors show a linear relation between the zeros and poles and the moments of the impulse response in the time domain which is useful in such studies.
