Abstract :
A computationally efficient null-data subcarrier switching scheme for peak-to-average power ratio (PAPR) reduction of OFDM systems is proposed. By applying incremental searching within dynamically expanding subcarrier bands, the proposed method achieves significant reduction in computational requirement without sacrificing PAPR reduction capability. The effectiveness of the proposed scheme is demonstrated by presenting simulation results of PAPR and bit error ratio.
