Abstract
The aim of the paper is to present the method for the detection of the atmospheric turbulence influencing optical wireless links. The experimental measurements were provided by the Michelson interferometer. Interferential patterns with one and four interferential fringes were adjusted by the appropriate optical components. Infrared source generating the turbulence was placed into the measuring arm of the interferometer. Detected optical power was recorded and relative variance of optical power was calculated. The results are presented and commented at the end of the paper.
