“Well, Isn't That Special?” [Editorial]

Faithful readers of IEEE Technology and Society Magazine (T&S) will have noticed a wealth of “specials” lately. Traditionally, T&S has one special issue each year featuring a selection of papers from an ISTAS conference, and often we´ve had another special issue dedicated to a single topic during a year. Since we are a quarterly, that schedule already makes us pretty special.
