Abstract :
Achieving a bobbin design that meets all the performance and cost demands placed on it is addressed. The discussion covers package size, basic bobbin types, temperature, thin-wall designs, flange design, start lead considerations, terminals, terminal insertion, tolerances, and tooling. Ways to reduce cost are discussed.<>
