Abstract :
All the physical quantities are put under the classification as being vectors or scalars depending upon whether they are associated with direction or not. The "direction" under consideration is a mechanical attribute. Electrical quantities having an independent and unique existence cannot in any way be related to what is known as "mechanical direction." They cannot be put under such a classification. This article presents an overview of qualifying electrical quantities maintaining the discipline of their independence with mechanical quantities and direction.
