Abstract :
Some generalized wave digital structures and orthogonal filters based on the translation from a distributed reactance two-port synthesized by extracting two-wire lines are presented. Two-channel lattice forms in normalized and unnormalized versions and a new orthogonal filter are derived. The synthesis procedure using a scattering matrix and some properties of the derived digital filters are described. Although in finite precision the proposed wave and orthogonal filters do not always have exact equivalent reactance circuits, some examples show that they still have good sensitivity properties
