Flexibly uniform

A fl exible antenna with a performance that is independent of deformations to its substrate has been demonstrated by researchers in Korea. The antenna design, which introduces a metamaterial and takes advantage of its zeroth-order resonance (ZOR) characteristic could be particularly useful for wearable applications, biomedical sensing and radiofrequency identifi cation (RFID) systems.
