  • Abstract
DC demagnetization and magnetic viscosity measurements were made on SmCo5 nanoparticles prepared by ball milling. The field dependence of the magnetic viscosity and irreversible susceptibility, χirr, were found to be identical. With appropriate normalization, χirr(H) for different temperatures scales to a universal function of the reduced magnetic field, H/Hc
