Abstract
A technique to electrically tune the compensated chromatic dispersion of 10 and 40 Gbit/s TDM systems (for both NRZ and RZ formats), making use, in a phase modulator of the temporal ordering provided by a chirped grating, is presented. The dispersion tuning range triples that achieved with a chirped grating compensator
