Abstract :
Dynamic hysteresis loops and losses were measured on Fe64 Co21B15 amorphous ribbons submitted to different annealing conditions. The results were analyzed by the dynamic Preisach model. The model can directly predict both the loop shape and the loss behavior vs frequency, on the basis of the Preisach distribution and of the linear dimension, Δl, of the correlation regions providing coherent magnetization changes. We estimated correlation lengths from Δl≈80 μm (as-cast case) to Δl≈250 μm (field-annealed material)
