  • Abstract
    A formula is presented for optimizing the magnetic field in NdFeB axial field permanent magnet motors. This formula which is based on a three-dimensional analytical analysis is readily programmed and ideal for parametric analysis. It is demonstrated via application to a practical motor geometry
