Abstract :
The shunt regulator of power unit conditioning in spacecraft is a nonlinear system due to the adopted multistage hysteresis control method. According to the existed nonlinear stability analysis results based on describing function, SR will run in the critical stable mode at special parameter regions. In this paper, an iteration method is proposed to confirm the critical stable parameter region. As an example, the load of SR is taken as the variable, its critical stable parameter region is provided; moreover, the complex behaviors of SR under the confirmed critical stable parameter region are shown. The simulation and experimental results prove the correctness and effectiveness of the proposed iteration method, which provide a good reference to design the parameters of SR.
