Can you describe what Infi nera does? Infi nera develops and manufactures optical networking systems to telecommunications carriers worldwide, based on our own unique photonic integrated circuit (PIC) technology. The PIC innovation has enabled us to develop a digital network architecture, which lets telecom companies deploy large volumes of bandwidth in a form that is faster, more fl exible, and more scalable than with traditional non-PIC-based optical systems. Today, Infi nera is one of the world leaders in optical networking systems and a signifi cant portion of the world´s internet traffi c travels over our systems.
