Abstract :
A subspace based adaptive beamforming method is presented which efficiently obtains the weight vector from a submatrix of the received signal covariance matrix without eigen-decomposition, thereby significantly reducing computational complexity. Simulation shows that the proposed beamformer virtually has the same performance as the complex eigen-based one.
