Abstract :
Clara E. Erickson was born in Baumholder, Germany, on March 15, 1934. She received the B.A. degree in psychology from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, in 1955. She spent the following year studying psychology on a Fullbright scholarship at the Ludwig Maximilian Universität, Munich, Germany. She then returned to the University of Michigan where she received the M.A. degree in psychology in 1957.
