Abstract :
Applying cascaded phase modulation after widely dispersing a short pulse with reverse frequency chirp at each stage can more effectively compensate higher-order chromatic dispersion in fibre transmission. The reduced spectral distortion of this configuration improves application to a wider range of pulse duration and phase modulation magnitude and frequency
