Abstract :
In this paper we investigate the utilization of a five level Active Neutral Point Clamped (ANPC) inverter for generation of 13.8 KV line-to-line AC voltage in a transformerless wind power generation system. Also we have proposed some modifications and novel switching schemes for this topology which has many benefits, including increased system reliability and decreased EMI production. The simulation results are illustrated in the paper to validate the proposed switching scheme.
