Abstract :
Engineering management is perhaps the most common career path for the successful engineer. In designing curricula to provide for the training of engineer-managers, engineering schools need to be responsive to the needs of the community and the individual engineer. These needs are best served by a program of study that addresses both the management needs and the engineering needs of the engineer-manager.
