Abstract :
As I write this column, plans were being finalized for the Industrial and Commercial Power Systems (I&CPS) Technical Conference. By the time you read this, significant progress would have been made in the conversion of the original Color Book series to the new dot standard format. This is not the first time that I have addressed this conversion [refer to my “Standards” column in November/December 2009 issue, pp. 80–87], but now we will actually have some new standards being issued, as the following standards were in the balloting stage earlier this year.
