Abstract :
The exact asymptotic symbol error rate (SER) for cognitive ratio systems with maximum ratio combining (MRC) considered by Li is derived, which circumvents the precondition requirement in the derivation made by Li. Monte Carlo simulations validate the theoretical analysis.
