Abstract :
A pseudo affine projection sign algorithm is proposed in which the weighted taxicab norm is minimised as the cost function and an approximation technique is applied according to the Gauss-Seidel method. The proposed algorithm not only has improved misalignment performance when the system output signals are contaminated by outliers, but also has low computational complexity as compared to the conventional affine projection algorithm.
